Harman Stove Company was recognized
as one of the Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies in
Central Pennsylvania in the eighth-annual list, released
this week by the Central Penn Business Journal.
In order to be eligible for nomination,
companies needed to show revenue of at least $500,000
in each of the fiscal years ending 2001, 2002, and 2003
and show revenue growth in 2003, as compared to 2001
(a three year period). Eligible companies were to be
for-profit entities headquartered in Cumberland, Dauphin,
Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York County.
Nominees were then ranked according
to revenue growth over the three-year period of 2001-2003.
Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into
consideration. This ranking formula, implemented by
Seligman Friedman & Company P.C., led to recognition
of the 2004 Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies, consisting
of both large and small companies.
The
2004 Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies list was published,
in rank order and with information on their financial
growth, which will appear in a special supplement to
the October 29 th issue of the Central Penn Business
Journal.
